Johnny dated model Kate Moss from 1994 to 1998. Little is known about their relationship. But judging by Kate’s 2012 Vanity Fair interview, losing Johnny was a total tragedy.

“There is no one who could have really taken care of me. Johnny did it for a while. I believed what he said. As if to say, “What am I doing?” he would tell me,” he said. “And that’s what I missed when I left. I really lost that indicator of someone I could trust. Nightmare. Years and years of crying. Oh, the tears!”

Johnny and French singer Vanessa Paradis met in 1998 and stayed together until 2012. During their relationship, they had two children together: Lily-Rose Melody Depp and John Christopher Depp III. Oddly enough, they never said “Yes”. Not to mention Johnny didn’t even ask the question.

In 2010, the actor told Extra why. “I never found myself needing that piece of paper. Marriage is truly soul to soul, heart to heart. You don’t need someone to say, okay, you’re married,” he said.

He continued: “If Vanessa wanted to get married, why not?… But the thing is, I’d be really scared if I ruined her last name. He has such a good last name.”

According to TMZ, Johnny is currently dating one of his lawyers, Joelle Rich, a mother of two who is in the process of divorcing her estranged husband.

It’s easy to assume that Joelle supported Johnny in the media firestorm that was his defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard, but she didn’t. Joelle represented Johnny in his 2018 case against British newspaper The Sun, suing him for defamation.

Meghan Markle’s attorney, Schillings Partners’ biography of Joelle also says, “Joelle helps individuals and families in the public eye protect their privacy and reputation, both inside and outside the courtroom. Often acting for her clients in times of crisis, Joelle works to defend her reputation against false and defamatory allegations in writing, online and on social media.”

As for their controversial romance, an anonymous source exclusively told Us Weekly that their “chemistry is off the charts.”

“It’s serious between them. They are the real deal,” the source detailed. So how much time do you give them?
