Is Ime Udoka suspended?
In Udoka’s first year as head coach, the Celtics came in second in the Eastern Conference and made it to the playoffs for the seventh straight year.
After the season ended, many people thought things were looking up for the team, which hadn’t won a championship since 2008.
But the Celtics were back in the news in September 2022 when it came out that Udoka might not be on the team for the 2022-2023 season.
Shams Charania of The Athletic said that Udoka had a “improper intimate and consensual relationship with a female member of the team staff,” which was against the franchise’s code of conduct.
Because of this, he could be punished, which could include being suspended for the rest of the season.
At this point, it’s still not clear what the wrong relationship is.

Long was born in Brooklyn, New York City, to a teacher and printmaker named Talita Long (née Gillman) and a high school teacher and poet named Doughtry Long. Her mother’s family is from Trinidad. Sommore, an actress and comedian who is a year older than her, is her older half-sister.
When Long was two, her parents split up. When her mother moved to Iowa City, Iowa, to study fine arts, she went with her. When Long was seven, her mother moved to South Los Angeles, where she planned to get married. She and her fiance called off the wedding, but Talita decided to stay in Los Angeles. Trenton, New Jersey, was where Long’s father lived.
From third to sixth grade, she took a bus from South Los Angeles to Paseo Del Rey Elementary School in Playa Del Rey. After that, she went to St. Mary’s Academy in Inglewood, California. She took classes in ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics, the guitar, and acting in addition to her academic classes. She graduated from Los Angeles’s Westchester High School in 1989.
Betty Bridges, who is best known as the mother of Diff’rent Strokes star Todd Bridges, was Long’s acting coach.
Her first part was in The B.R.A.T. Patrol, a Disney TV movie where she acted with Sean Astin, Tim Thomerson, and Brian Keith. Her first big role on TV was on the soap opera Guiding Light, where she played Kathryn “Kat” Speakes for three years. From 1991 to 1994, Long played Kat. In Boyz n the Hood, Long played Brandi. Long was excited about the movie because it was her “first real movie role.” It made Long feel better about herself as an actress. “It showed me that it was okay to be myself and still be successful in the world,” she said. “I didn’t have to be like anyone else.” She played Beulah “Lisa” Wilkes, Will Smith’s girlfriend and future wife, on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from 1994 to 1995. Jada Pinkett Smith was supposed to play Lisa at first, but she was too short to play the part next to Will Smith, who is 6’2″, so Long got the part. But in the eighth episode of the second season of the show, “She Ain’t Heavy,” which aired in 1992, Long played Claudia, a girl Will liked, along with Queen Latifah.
Long was offered the part of Alex Munday in Charlie’s Angels in 2000, but she turned it down. Eventually, Lucy Liu got the part. She joined the cast of the drama Third Watch in 2003 and played NYPD Officer Sasha Monroe until the end of the show in 2005. Long was on Everwood in 2005 and 2006, and he was on Boston Legal in the 2006–2007 season. Long was also in the TV show Big Shots with Michael Vartan and Dylan McDermott from 2007 to 2008. She was also a guest star on the first season of the TV show Living Single. She was the voice of Roberta Tubbs on The Cleveland Show until Reagan Gomez-Preston took over.
In the 2013 movie The Best Man Holiday, she played the same role she had in the 1999 movie. In this version, however, her character is dating a white man, which is different from the first movie. Long was shown to be interested in a relationship with a person of a different race in the movie. He said, “We live in a modern world where it happens and it’s OK, and it’s not a slight on any black man.” I love black men, but the truth is that the sistahs are marrying white men and the brothas are marrying white women. That’s the world we live in, and we shouldn’t judge it. If it works for you, embrace it. Director Malcolm D. Lee also liked how the movie showed a relationship between two people of different races. “Highly successful African-American women can’t always find equally successful black men, so it’s a little bit of a reflection of reality that black women are starting to date outside their race—and why not?”
Long played the lead role in the Netflix thriller Fatal Affair, which came out in July 2020.
